STAND UP 101 at LBC is where to start your journey. In 6-weeks we will focus on identifying and honing each student’s unique sense of humor, and learning the open mic etiquette that will make each student a new pillar of the community. We will focus on finding an individual voice through life experiences and personal observations. Each student will write and workshop their own material every week and the class will culminate in a Stand Up showcase where each student will perform a 5 minute set. The goal of Stand Up 101 is to give each student the tools to pursue comedy and be more confident in the public speaking.
